Claudia Rebolledo Sánchez

Founder & Co-Artistic Director

Claudia is an Applied Theatre Facilitator, Cultural Manager and Actress. She is a recent graduate of the Royal central School of Speech and Drama with a Masters in Applied Theatre.
Claudia has extensive experience working with children and youth, in Chile and recently in London, through Drama Facilitation. She has worked in schools creating and running the Drama programmes dedicated to complement student’s English speaking skills and support the school’s curriculum with the implementation of theatrical tools. Additionally she has developed and ran Inclusive Theatre workshops for youth and adults with learning disabilities.
While she spends most of her time working as a Co-Artistic Director for Rootprints Theatre, developing and facilitating bespoke workshops, she also works as a freelancer at schools and theatre companies around London.
Claudia strongly believes in the potential Applied Theatre can have in creating an inclusive society and is invested in generating projects that answer to current social issues.

Varshini Pichemuthu

 Founder & Co-Artistic Director 

Varshini is an Applied Theatre facilitator, actress and spoken word artist. She is a recent graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with a Masters in Applied Theatre. She also holds a Bachelors of Social Science degree in Sociology. 

Varshini has extensive experience working with children and youth both in Singapore and in London. Her previous work experiences include being a librarian and an investigations officer focusing on the challenges faced by female domestic workers in Singapore. Building on her passion for such issues, she has designed and co-facilitated drama workshops, for seven weeks, in a care home for abandoned and orphaned young girls in Delhi, India.

While she spends most of her time working as a Co-Artistic Director for Rootprints Theatre, developing and facilitating bespoke workshops, she also works as a freelancer teaching children in drama and LAMDA clubs. Varshini is passionate about using theatre as a platform to address social issues she cares about including displacement, women’s and children’s rights and human rights violations.
