We aim to bring quality drama workshops to various communities in London. We are passionate about creating fun, engaging and thought provoking workshops which aim to bring communities together, celebrate cultural diversity and promote a deeper sense of belonging. At the heart of our work is the exploration of the multiple identities that a person might possess and how that impacts the way they negotiate their attachment to places and communities, while highlighting the benefits of being part of a culturally rich society.
We offer inclusive workshops for a range of ages, from children to adults, using various creative tools such as storytelling, performance, spoken word, place intervention and more.
As a company we are also highly curious about the power of language and thus offer the option of bilingual workshops in Spanish or Tamil at the moment.

RootPrints Theatre is the brainchild of Claudia Rebolledo Sánchez & Varshini Pichemuthu who met while embarking on their Master of Arts Applied Theatre degree at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London. Their love for all things theatre and the community combined with their experiences of being an immigrant in the UK, led them to create the company - Claudia hails from Chile while Varshini is from Singapore.
